LLM in International Law (Trade and Investment) from Heidelberg University and a Master’s in Labor Law. With 20 years of experience advising multinational companies, investors, and law firms on the management of labor risks linked to international trade.
Her career includes 12 years at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva and Mexico, along with experience in private legal practice in Mexico, specializing in labor compliance, the USMCA / T-MEC (United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement), Mexican labor law, freedom of association, collective bargaining, and labor due diligence. She has also authored several publications on these topics.
She combines solid experience in international policy with practical knowledge of the Mexican regulatory environment and the management of complex compliance matters in supply chains and cases under the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism (RRLM) of the USMCA. Her work has helped reduce operational, reputational, and commercial risks for companies with operations or supply chains in Mexico.
Gustavo Lezcano Álvarez

Doctor of Human Rights and strategic advisor on collective labor matters, with more than 25 years in the Federal Judiciary and a high success rate in resolving collective disputes of various kinds.
An international speaker on human rights and labor law in Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, and Central America, at events organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary, the Federal School of Judicial Training, and various specialized universities and organizations.
Top-tier legal intelligence for companies operating in Mexico under the labor standards of the USMCA / T-MEC (United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement). As a retired district judge and specialist, Dr. Lezcano Álvarez uniquely combines the insider perspective of the judicial system that applies these rules with the practical experience of having resolved them across hundreds of hearings.

Milene Montero Álvarez

Master of Law and specialist from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with more than twenty years of experience in labor law and collective labor relations.
Her career combines professional practice in the private sector, judicial service as a now-retired district judge, and extensive academic involvement, establishing her as a specialist in collective labor law, freedom of association, collective bargaining, and union democracy within Mexico’s new labor justice system.
She has taken part as a panelist and speaker in national and international forums organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary, the Federal School of Judicial Training, and various specialized universities and organizations.
Author of an analysis on union representativeness published by UNAM and the Federal Judicial School, co-author of the Judicial Guides for Conducting Hearings, and author of various legal texts and materials on labor matters.
Her experience allows her to provide effective advisory services in the management of labor relations, regulatory compliance, the resolution of collective disputes, and the implementation of good practices aligned with national and international labor standards.
